Interview: Todd Dills of THE2NDHAND

THE2NDHANDWhen Todd Dills moved to Birmingham, an opportunity for young writers came with him. That opportunity is THE2NDHAND, a literary broadsheet that Dills started in Chicago after moving there and finding a furtive writing scene in need of a common means of expression. Now that means of expression is available to Birmingham writers as well as writers from Chicago and other cities.

As Dills tells it, THE2NDHAND was born from a marriage of time and place: it occurred as a by-product of being a writer in an active writing scene and pursuing an M.F.A. in creative writing.
